About Us

Government Polytechnic Bhilihili, Azamgarh, established in 2010 by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, is a premier institute dedicated to technical education and innovation.

The institute began with a single branch — Diploma in Civil Engineering — and expanded in 2023 to include Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Diploma in Electronics Engineering. Today, it offers three-year diploma programs in all three branches, each with an intake of 75 students.

Initially operational from Savitri Bai Phule Government Polytechnic, Azamgarh, the institute now functions from its own permanent campus at Bhilihili, Tarwa, Lalganj Tehsil, Azamgarh.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, industry-oriented technical education that nurtures skilled, competent, and responsible diploma engineers. We emphasize academic excellence, practical expertise, discipline, and personality development to prepare students for the evolving demands of the workforce.
